Brittney's 2024 New Year's Resolutions

New Year's Celebration!

Happy New Year!

I personally don't really make New Year's resolutions, but I thought I would start this year! I wanted to stick to only 5 so that I don't scatter my energy into too many areas of my life. I made sure that my resolutions are realistic and attainable.

Here's my list!:

  1. Meditate more often. I ground myself at least 1-2 times a day, but I want to do more meditations -- both guided and without structure or music. This will help me to de-stress as well as strengthen my intuition. At this point in time, the only times I meditate are during guided meditations that I am partaking in for a specific purpose or work-related goal or idea. This makes my brain connect meditating with my work-related process, which I don't want to be the only reason I meditate.

  2. More automatic writing. I have only done a handful of automatic writing sessions in my day. I place too much pressure on myself to get clear and specific messages from Spirit. I know that the more I practice, the better I will get at it and the more comfortable I will be in allowing the process to unfold, rather than placing too much expectation on the end result.

  3. Go on more nature walks. I was very busy trying to study and research all throughout 2023, especially as it relates to Astrology and all its different modern and traditional branches. I didn't spend nearly enough time outside or in nature as I would have liked. Your girl used to have to take Vitamin D3 supplements in high school, and I would much rather get my Vitamin D3 intake through the Sun! Nature is also very healing in general. I would love to provide more Reiki to Mother Earth and the animals as I am walking around and sunbathing as well.

  4. Volunteer work. Even if it's just one small thing, I would love to make a positive impact on my community or society as a whole. There are plenty of volunteer opportunities everywhere! Websites such as this one can point you in the right direction.

  5. Get better sleep. This past year, I typically only got around 6.5-7 hours of sleep per night, on average. For this year, I am going to aim to get at least 8-8.5 hours of sleep per night. This should improve my focus and allow me to accomplish more throughout the day while still performing an act of self-care.
